The DATA ANALYTICS/PROVIDER ECONOMICS INTERN will be responsible for…

Primary responsibilities include supporting:

• Assist the Provider Economics team in collecting and refining healthcare data
• Assist in analyzing and validating statistical models and data
• Analyze data for accuracy and reasonableness
• Conduct internet research for competitive analysis
• Prepare documents for analysis as necessary

Functions OR examples of projects for this role: 

• Support competitive intelligence projects (including but not limited to Coordination of Benefits and Hospital Transparency data files)
• Assist in provider network design and system maintenance, network dashboard and other projects as necessary

The Summer 2022 Internship will take place from June through August. This is a remote opportunity with hybrid potential for Boston, Denver, and Chicago, with an expectation of 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule. The ideal person will possess the willingness and capacity to learn quickly and apply new knowledge. They will also have proven analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities. We are in search of an energetic self-starter with a willingness to work hard, take on significant and multiple responsibilities, and with dedication towards excellence and achieving results. QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Actuarial, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or other related degrees
• Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
