    The QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ANALYTICS INTERN will assist on Annual Evaluation reporting strategy and redesign the reporting requirements and layouts by working with Corporate Performance Measurement & Improvement and DAR to productionalize formats and reduce manual intervention

    Primary duties to include, but not limited to:

    • Develop a project plan to accomplish reporting goals supporting NCQA accreditation
    • Complete gap analysis of current state to end state 
    • Develop relationships with stakeholders to align shared reporting goals across departments
    • Troubleshoot data issues, identification of root causes, and resolution opportunities
    • Use statistical analysis and coding to refine reporting layouts and formats 
    • Streamline end-to-end data process focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capability
    • Create validation and QC process to ensure high data integrity
    • Test reports for functionality and complete validation of data
    • Demonstrate reporting effectiveness in generating Quality Improvement Opportunities
    • Train regional staff on new reporting functions and processes

    Functions for this Internship: Quality improvement, data analytics, accreditation, project management

  • Qualifications
    • Pursuing a Master's in Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Social Sciences, Data Science, or Statistics (highly preferred) 
    • Advanced computer skills, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel.  
    • Highly proficient in analytics, communication, leadership, and presentations. 
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Must be available to work a 40-hour workweek for 10-12 weeks in summer 2021
    • Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
