The QMR Intern will be responsible for…

Primary responsibilities include supporting:

• Examine and evaluate the QMR process results to determine impact.
• Identify, recommend, and implement standardized approaches to performing Quality Management
• Provides assistance to QMR program manager with special projects.  Projects to be determined closer to hire date.
• Work with QMR program manager on projects to improve review process and process efficiency of the team.
• Participates in provider audits as an observer.
• Provide critical feedback to QMR Program Manager and Leads after QMR audit to improve on QMR process
• Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures, including with respect to confidentiality, data protection and information security.

Functions OR examples of projects for this role:

• Create QMR review flowcharts showing steps for QMR process for each service type.
• Develop and implement a management information system for QMR records that provides for all level access including upper management to view and analyze quality findings data
• Support the QMR team in updating documentation, filing, and housing of the QMR records and other documentation. 
• Develop and administer training to educate active employees and new hires on the QMR process.

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Policy, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or other related degrees
• This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
• Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
