POSITION OVERVIEW

The Risk Quant group is a core functional area within Global Atlantic. Risk Quant group's day to day functions include:

• FIA/IUL/VA derivatives hedging
• Three-Lens View: GAAP risk report, Statutory risk report and Economic risk report
• Daily PnL attribution for liability hedging, and other hedging programs
• Generating equity, interest rate scenarios

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Improving and maintaining hedging, risk and PnL system
• Assisting with ad hoc hedging related projects, such as inflation hedge
• Assisting the team on developing automated data pipeline

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong academic record in pursuit of a Master's Degree in top universities with concentrations and/or interests in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or other quantitative field
• Knowledge of Python or other Object-Oriented Programming language
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Pro-active, detail oriented, and deadline driven; possess excellent analysis skills
• Results oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment
