The REGULATORY AFFAIRS INTERN will be responsible for…
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide records management program for all media types designed to identify, maintain, organize and preserve business records as required by law, regulation and business processes. This includes:
Maintaining and administering the company’s records retention policy and related schedules, including revising as necessary to take account of business and legal developments and ensuring appropriate access to, and retention and destruction of, business records.
Conducting periodic assessments related to records management schedules.
Assisting in the maintenance and administration of a contract management program, including the administration of a contract “tickler” system.
Leading a project to transition existing corporate records to electronic storage, as needed.
Responding to record requests, and
Administering offsite storage.
Develop and administer training to educate active employees and new hires on records policies/procedures.
Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures, including with respect to confidentiality, data protection and information security.
Interface with senior legal, compliance, technology, data and financial executives as needed.
Respond to records management audits and other compliance processes.
