Strategy Associates report directly to the Strategy Lead. The purpose of the team is to shape the long-term strategy of the Company through substantive strategy projects for senior leaders (including CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team). These projects build upon external analysis (e.g., trends, best practices), internal analysis (e.g., business performance and drivers), and evaluation of choice points (e.g., defining options and financial implications).

What would I be doing?

• Creatively brainstorm with other members of the team to break-down a complex, unstructured problem into sizeable and logical “working assertions”
• Structure, research and communicate point of view(s) to prove or disprove working assertions; including competitive research, case studies and expert interviews
• Analyze financial statements and interpret performance; occasionally build quantitative models to dissect or forecast performance
• Build client relationships through interactions across the business; participate and actively capture takeaways from executive meetings and develop compelling presentation skills
• Be an energetic member of the team and take ownership of team morale; proactively highlight ways to improve the experience for self and other members of team; lead by example

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA
• Demonstrated collaborative working skills gained from student organizations, sports, community involvement or internship/work experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication in a professional setting
• Strong, creative problem solver
• Intellectually curious and agile learner
• Strong relationship building skills with a high focus on the client
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred majors include Business, Economics or Financial Mathematics/Engineering or similar
• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
• Past internship experience in either management consulting or financial services
