Looking to learn all you can about Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement in the fast-paced insurance industry? This 11-to-12-week Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement Internship at Liberty Mutual may be just what you’re looking for!
Supplier Diversity Responsibilities
Develop and recommend communication and engagement channels and tools to promote the Supplier Diversity Program to external audiences
Work with procurement team to consolidate supplier contact records into procurement database to improve future outreach efforts; support Tier 2 outreach campaign and new supplier registration portal workflow
Research and identify potential diverse suppliers within the RFx process
Conduct national benchmarking outreach for best practices, review current supplier diversity program materials, and compile findings to develop improvement recommendations; presented to SD Core team
Attend Procurement and Supplier Diversity Meetings (including local conferences, if applicable)
Other related duties or tasks as assigned or required
Sustainable Procurement Responsibilities
Provide support with environmental, policy analysis, communication plan development and implementation, vendor engagement, data analysis, special projects, research, and analysis which may require guided collaborations with key stakeholders in a variety of functional areas supported by Liberty’s Supplier Sustainability Program

Qualifications
What you’ve got
You have 0-2 years of professional experience.
You are working towards a bachelor’s degree with a Supply Chain or Purchasing focus with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
You must have permanent work authorization in the United States.
You are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
You possess strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
You have experience with technical programs, including a strong working knowledge of Excel.
You must be able to commit to a full-time, 11-to-12-week internship program during the summer of 2023.
