    As a Full-Time Analyst, you will enhance business acumen and gain insight into the insurance industry. Analysts work within a business or function and gain broad exposure to their particular areas of interest. The program is an exclusive and competitive track for graduates from all degrees and disciplines. Analysts are exposed to the company’s global nature almost immediately. At the start of the program, all global participants convene in NY or Houston for orientation and training.

    In addition to the experience acquired on the job, Analysts participate in global training that will help them learn and become accustomed to and integrated into the culture of AIG. Furthermore, Analysts will receive detailed performance feedback and will experience invaluable networking opportunities with both junior- and senior-level AIG employees across multiple divisions. Considerable emphasis is placed on training and development to help build both soft and technical business skills.

    What is the Technology Analyst Program (TAP)?

    • TAP is a leading technology rotational program that recruits high potential individuals from top universities
    • Throughout the program TAP participants will develop a breadth and depth of IT skills and capabilities required to excel in the workforce
    • Over 24 months TAP participants will complete three rotations of their choosing in different Technology Departments, each eight months long, to gain the knowledge, experience, and skills needed to graduate into 1 of 11 full-time roles
    • TAP participants graduating into the same full-time role will join a cohort that serves as a community throughout the program

    The Technology division sets enterprise-wide standards that are flexible and customizable for the specific needs of AIG. It enables AIG to deliver business strategies through efficient world-class IT services, while ensuring the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place.

    Career Paths within the Division:

    Business Operations Strategy:

    • TAP participants will serve as liaisons between the business and IT to gather requirements, recommend solutions, manage delivery, and implement broad technology solutions that meet business needs.
    • Roles: Business Analyst, Junior Account Manager, Project Coordinator

    Core Technologists:

    • TAP participants will deliver, maintain, and improve technical services and applications critical to the business.
    • Roles: Application Developer, Database Administrator, Digital User Interface Designer, Infrastructure Engineer

    Business Intelligence:

    • TAP participants will analyze business needs and IT capabilities to identify and develop data- driven solutions to resolve business challenges while maintaining high quality data to enable efficient extraction of key insights that that drive vital business decisions.
    • Role: BI Technical Analyst, Data Scientist

    Customer Focus and Enterprise Protection:

    • TAP participants will monitor and manage issues and risks regarding critical technology assets and mitigate disruptions to user-experience.
    • Roles: Cyber Security Analyst, End User Support

    Required:

    • Minimum grade point average of 3.2 (unofficial transcript required upon application)
    • Bachelor’s degree, or candidate for Bachelor’s degree to be received no later than May 2018 in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Other Related Major

    Preferred:
