Up to $70,000

Description

  • Initial review of new claims, including discussion as needed with surveillance investigator
  • Issue reservation of rights letters
  • Communicate with subrogation vendors as needed
  • Correspond and negotiate with interested parties, including claimants and, attorneys; accurately document all such correspondence, whether verbal or written, within Riskmaster claims system
  • Work with adjusters, claims assistants, and claims support staff as necessary
  • Produce Plans of Action on each claim, documenting the logic used to make the calculation; revise estimates and Plans of Action as new information becomes known
  • Provide testimony as necessary
  • Attend internal and occasional external seminars and training programs
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • At least three years of general adjusting experience or two years of WC subrogation experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of New York State WC Law 29 is required.
  • A college degree is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Riskmaster is preferred, but not required.
  • References are required.
