*The goal of this internship is to convert to a full-time position.

This position will assist in monitoring for security events which could lead to larger security investigations.

The purpose of this role is to understand how to respond to a suspicious event to determine if it is a false positive, or it needs to be escalated further.*

" This role will assist in the cyber security operations in the following:

• Monitoring for alerts from security tools
• Monitoring for systems not logging
• Escalating security events for further investigation

• Conceptual knowledge of common attacks against systems
• Ability to follow defined processes related to triaging security events
• Willingness to learn at a fast pace
