    The TechX Internship program is a 9-month, part-time paid learning experience that begins in October 2020 for students currently enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate degree program, majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Management, IT, Project Management, Product Management, or another Technology-related field. You'll work closely with your team, be paired with a mentor, and participate in projects alongside with some of the best senior technologists in the industry. For our eager explorers, you'll also have the opportunity to rotate teams giving you exposure to a wide variety of technologies across our organization.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    What you'll do in your role.

    Working as an Intern on our Product Management teams means taking on responsibilities, projects, and critical issues that impact our business and customers in real-time. We'll have product management opportunities like supporting the entire lifecycle of products/services for key lines of business, conducting research and analysis of consumer needs, providing analysis of revenue growth and profitability, and identifying product/service improvement opportunities (just to name a few!). You'll contribute your creativity and great ideas, and you'll be challenged to deliver complex business solutions. We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to make an immediate impact. Job responsibilities we have in store for you.

    • Responsible for continuous product improvement including product delivery, product performance and identifying growth opportunities.
    • Partner with business and internal/external stakeholders to understand current customer experience and identifies areas of opportunity.
    • Develop and deliver product support materials including but not limited to videos, start guides, browser-based and mobile webpages.
    • Drive product forecasting, monitoring and reporting performance in partnership with key reporting and support teams including but not limited to engineering, supply chain, Frontline, accounting and marketing.
    • Identifying product opportunities through research in partnership with T-Mobile research teams, data analytics and competitive forces to build a business case, value proposition and product strategy.
    • Collect, analyze and present findings to key stakeholders as required.
    • Collect feedback and develop action plans based on findings to improve performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present business updates to all key internal and external stakeholders. Solicit support from all impacted and contributing business groups, including product realization, engineering, enterprise information technology (EIT), legal, accounting, marketing, supply chain, customer care and retail operations.
    • Leverage cross-functional partnerships to develop and support new and differentiated customer experience.
    • Contribute to functional, technical, system and reporting requirements for new or major iterations of a product or service.
    • Anticipate potential sources of business and customer issues and drive mitigation plans early in the product development lifecycle. Partner with prelaunch teams on rollout of new products and services.
  • Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program majoring in Product Management or a related Technical field including: Project Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Management Systems, and Information Technology
    • Able to work 15 to 25 hours per week during regular daytime business hours (schedule will be flexible to accommodate classes and coursework)
    • Ability to commute to T-Mobile's offices in Bellevue, Bothell or Snoqualmie, WA
    • Permanent authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
