    A Summer Internship with Purpose

    Our 11-week, paid summer internship program provides you with opportunities for learning and personal development, networking and engagement with our leadership teams. Based in San Francisco, New York City or Toronto (but operating virtually until it is safe to be back in our offices), you’ll feel accepted from day 1, included and a part of our community. You’ll gain hands on experience and exposure within your discipline and team while making real contributions, receiving mentorship and learning from constructive feedback. Whether it's wrangling big data or writing code for our app, your work contributes to our company’s overall success, impacting the lives of millions.

    My Impact as a WW Experience Research Intern

    • Contribute to ongoing research projects by preparing study guides and conducting sessions
    • Collect user insights by a variety of methods including surveys, interviews, log analysis, concept tests, usability tests, diary studies, ethnographic observation, or a new method you invent
    • Learn how to translate research findings into usable and actionable design tools that inspire change.
    • Identify opportunities to integrate quantitative data into qualitative research findings, when possible
    • Assist with planning and facilitating workshops to explore the impact of research across multiple touchpoints and product offerings
    • Observe senior researchers as they work with product managers and designers to understand the business requirements and learning objectives related to research requests
  • Qualifications

    Educational Requirements & Desired Skills

    • Completed at least one training / course focused on qualitative research methods 
    • Eager to learn, courageous, and willing to learn from mistakes  
    • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology, cognitive science, human-computer interaction, design, sociology, anthropology, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • May be participating in a non-traditional job training program that focuses on design, tech/engineering, or research
    • Graduation date between December 2021 and May 2022
