    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Our Team

    Privacy Regulations Compliance

    The data protection team focuses on developing, operationalizing, and maintaining the Nasdaq Privacy Platform to be in compliance with upcoming Data Protection laws released by countries around the globe. By developing a Privacy Framework that monitors operation or set of operations performed upon data across the full data life cycle, including but not limited to the collection, retention, classification, transformation, use, disclosure, transfer, and disposal of data – innovation is enabled and trust will be increased in systems, products, and services.

    Vulnerability Management

    The Program Management team includes a Vulnerability Management group responsible for tracking global vulnerability remediation efforts in compliance with NASDAQ published SLA.

    Data Protection Platforms

    The data protection team is leveraging a data-centric approach to advanced threat detection and prevention that ensures security travels with the data. Enhancing the security posture by delivering a Data Leakage Protection Framework that breaks the problem of controlling and securing data.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    As an Information Security Team member, your focus will be to deliver what is needed for the organization on the security and privacy needs. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

    • Lead and coordinate in the development of new privacy features and tools, operationalizing and maintaining data protection platforms for the security needs of Global Nasdaq
    • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues in the implementation and processes
    • Collaborate with various Information security teams to implement and maintain anomalies and threat models within Insider threat platforms
    • Follow up and coordinate with development and business teams in assessing applications in order to ensure compliance with privacy and export controls
  • Qualifications
    • Is working on completing a degree in Computer Science, or Software/Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or related field (preferably graduating by 2022 or 2023)
    • We don’t expect the candidate to have in-depth knowledge of the required domains, but the candidate MUST have the ability to learn on the go and has a history of applying logical reasoning to effectively solve problems and thus successfully deliver projects
    • Ability to communicate across disciplines (e.g. development, business & legal)
    • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
    • A suitable candidate will have proven experience and passion to deliver what is needed for the organization
    • Domain Knowledge of operationalizing either Data Loss Prevention or Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) or Insider threat platforms
