  • Responsibilities

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The scope of the work within the Internal Communications consists of delivering messages and campaigns on behalf of executives and managers and the global organization to educate, inform and entertain employees - thus facilitating two-way dialogue and developing the communication skills of the employees.

    Project Overview

    • Writing articles that will be published on the company intranet
    • Co-produce videos that will be shared on the company intranet, Business Unit, and Corporate Functions webpages
    • Help manage employee meetings at the local, regional, BU, and global level - working specifically with SVPs and EVPs
    • Other ad hoc internal communications projects as directed

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The Internal Communications intern will work with the team to develop and deliver a variety of small, medium, and large campaigns at the enterprise, BU, and local levels.

  • Qualifications
    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
    • Ability to be a storyteller to identified audiences
    • Curious about how to communicate better and evolve communications to where they are fun/actionable
    • Requires being active in meetings and leading projects and therefore requires the ability/willingness to talk to groups of people, present ideas for internal marketing campaigns (e.g., May the Fourth and Shark Week are big at Nasdaq)
