    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

The Social Media Intern will report to the Global Head of Social Media and support our global marketing and communications teams, bringing their organic and paid social media campaigns to life across multiple platforms.

    Project Overview

    We will choose an emerging social media platform and do an evaluation of the platform and competitive analysis or a refresh on best practices.

    Your Role

    The role demands creativity, energy, and a positive attitude. A successful candidate must have excellent writing, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills; sound judgment; and a passion for the ever-evolving world of social media and digital marketing. The right candidate has a foundation as a storyteller, explores the latest social media trends, and is comfortable collaborating across business units.

    The person in this role is responsible for:

    • Helping in content creation across all our Social Media platforms
    • Providing support in marketing and communications initiatives
    • Creating lead generation
    • Community building and collaborating with and supporting the team in all efforts. The right candidate knows how to tell a good story
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business or Marketing or Communications (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Someone who can work across multiple groups and expertise
    • Hunger to learn more about technology and the expansion of markets

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Has experience posting and looking through analytics social media platforms
    • Must have excellent communication and writing skills
    • Video editing is a plus
    • Experience with social media asset editing programs is also a plus
