    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Treasury team is responsible for managing cash, investments, and capital structure for Nasdaq. Treasury Americas team consists of 4 groups and you will be working primarily with the Projects, Accounting, and Reporting team. Our team manages global projects, business continuity plans, and is responsible for financial reporting and accounting in our Treasury management System.

    Project Overview

    The main project will be to update the business continuity plan for the global Treasury department. Other ad hoc projects may be related to process improvements and technology implementation where the intern would be assisting in project management with creating project plans, update documentation, and create status updates in our project management system.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The intern will be responsible for consolidating and updating the Business Continuity Plan (BCP). The intern will be working with the global Treasury team on daily basis and will closely work with a mentor that is located in NY.

    • Review the BCP
    • Conduct interviews with process owners
    • Consolidate global processes in one plan
    • Update information in Assurance software
    • Support in ad-hoc projects
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, or Finance, or Economics, or related fields (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Has good writing and communication skills in English
    • Has a keen eye for details and the ability to see a big picture

    • Good organizational skills
    • Has the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
