The ABA Counselor-Education is responsible for providing educational instruction designed to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth to an assigned individual in a structured classroom environment.
They will assist in implementing individualized programs that are appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents (ages 5-21 years) with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities, including those acquired by brain injury. The ABA- Counselor-Education will typically be assigned to a single classroom but may be required to work with individuals from other classrooms, as assigned by supervisors.
