As an Aggregation Quality Analyst, you will help investigate and maintain the feeds that allow us to aggregate job content from over 100,000 job sites globally. Our goal is that all jobs on Indeed sites reflect the most accurate and up-to-date information. Using data provided by our internal error detection system, you will identify problems with existing job feeds in order to ensure Indeed's job data accuracy. In addition to maintaining our existing sources, you will identify and index new sources of job data in order to increase Indeed's comprehensiveness. You will also work with the rest of the team to escalate issues, report bugs, execute on impactful projects, and define requirements for new features.
Responsibilities:
Investigate, triage, and resolve errors detected by Indeed's automated systems
Work with a fast-paced team to handle a high volume of requests in a timely manner
Identify improvements for detecting errors within job feeds
Help to define policy and process changes, which guide company-wide decision-making
Contribute to team projects and documentation as necessary
Participate in information sharing activities within your team and organization
Lead shadowing sessions with sub-teams within AggOps and also AggDev/Product and other internal stakeholders
Escalate issues that could point to a bug in our systems
Participate in peer-review quality assessment
Make EVERY decision with the benefit to job seekers in mind

WHO YOU ARE
Requirements:
Experience in a ticket-based investigatory role or with a consumer-facing web company is strongly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Passion for digging into a problem and finding the best solution
Must be extremely detail oriented
Working knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g. Jira) and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence) are a plus
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, RegEx and/or SQL is a plus
Knowledge of a second language (Spanish, French, German, Japanese, etc) is a plus
Strong quantitative and analytical skills to recognize patterns and issues
Identify trending issues with our processes and build out action plans to tackle them

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
