Technical Publications Writer on the C-130 aircraft to develop and author technical publications for complex military aeronautics systems. The individual will be responsible to develop military aeronautics technical publications that may include flight manuals, maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts breakdown manuals, as well as maintenance Job Guides utilizing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS) in S1000D format. Ability to effectively work with multiple engineering, software, supportability, and logistics disciplines will lead to success in developing technical publications. The successful candidate will be working under general supervision, they will develop and field technically accurate and MIL-STD compliant technical documentation for complex systems. Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited university.
