    What You’ll Do

Our Summer Analyst Program is designed to provide students a challenging, meaningful and supportive internship experience that replicates as closely as possible the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst. While you’ll be assigned to a specific team, the program always begins with a Summer Analyst orientation which offers a thorough overview of the firm and the opportunity to hear from a number of senior leaders.

Following orientation, interns receive on-the-job training and are given day-to-day responsibilities to contribute to their teams throughout the summer. The program also includes a speaker series, mentoring program, and various networking opportunities. You’ll also have opportunities to engage with our employee networks that help every employee feel included and supported, whether that means participating in an activity run by the Green Team Network to support sustainability practices, learning from a senior leader within one of our professional networks or attending events sponsored by our employee-run networks like the Ability & Allies Network.

BlackRock is highly committed to the Summer Analyst Program and it is the main pipeline into our Full-Time Analyst Program.

As a Product Strategist Summer Analyst, you will:

    • Monitor competitive universe through regular analysis of key competitors’ current and envisaged products
    • Create, develop and maintain marketing materials including thought pieces to assist in investor relations and external engagement
    • Create investor reporting for existing products (maintain positioning & attribution files), as well as market overview materials
    • Assist those teams managing roadshows, marketing efforts, sales meetings and prospect lists, etc.
    • Attend investment meetings with portfolio managers to stay abreast of investment themes, trades, views and news to help craft the firm’s response to client and prospect due diligence (RFPs and DDQs)

We look forward to reviewing your application!
