    AWS Educate is Amazon's global initiative to provide students comprehensive resources for building skills in the cloud. It is a no-cost curriculum providing access to content, training, pathways, AWS services.

    Application Developers are behind the apps that people use every day, from travel to shopping to connecting with the world. They work on all aspects of app development, from identifying requirements to building prototypes to continuously making improvements. In this pathway, which is about 45 hours of learning, you'll learn about the skills used by an Application Developer to build cool new applications.

    Course Objectives

    In this pathway, you'll explore:

    1.   Different scripting languages necessary for this role, including Python, Javascript, and using the command line interface.
      
    2.   Application development architecture, and devops strategies
      
    3.   Various platform technologies, including Windows and Linux, and virtualization.
      
    4.   Data and data structures, relational and non-relational databases.
      
  • Qualifications

    This survey course is aimed at individuals interested in cloud topics with little or no working knowledge of AWS. You do not need to be currently enrolled in college/ university to apply for this course, but we recommend you use a school email to sign up!
