    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Site Merchandising team at Abercrombie & Fitch is responsible for translating company strategy, product and marketing initiatives into our growing international eCommerce business. Deliver experience strategies to support seasonal brand marketing, promotional campaigns & ongoing reactionary customer communications

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Responsible for publishing and merchandising new products to domestic and international websites in collaboration with the Copywriter, Photo Studio & Merchant teams according to weekly floorset calendars and launch deadlines
    • Validate staging website daily for data accuracy, categorization, strategic product vision and customer experience prior to deployment to production environment
    • Optimize taxonomy, grid pages, sorting rules, product pages, recommendations, and search
    • Execute weekly promotional strategies in partnership with Promo and Pricing teams through category creation and merchandising
    • Collaborate with Product Channel Merchants, Marketing Strategy & Site Content teams to understand product strategies and bring seasonal wireframes to life digitally
    • Coordinate with Testing and Analytics teams to execute A/B tests
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings as the site expert of owned area, giving recommendations on site strategies, execution, and hindsight
    • Support customer experience across mobile, desktop and app through technical features with a deep understanding of site functionality, including limitations and opportunities
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners (IT, Marketing, Site Content, etc.) to prioritize, mitigate, resolve, and report on production issues and causes
    • Partner with site merchandising team to evolve merchandising tools based on business needs
    • Work necessary off-hours including occasional weekends and holidays to support the business
  • Qualifications

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
    • 2-3 years of experience in Site Merchandising, Digital or Merchandising
    • Passion for eCommerce, fashion retail and the A&F brands
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Teams applications
    • Experience working with PIM, IBM WebSphere Commerce or similar eCommerce platforms
    • Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team-based settings
    • Self-motivated with the discipline to complete owned tasks independently
    • Desire to take on the responsibility of running a portion of a multi-billion dollar business
    • Ability to easily communicate technical requirements and creative ideas in a team environment
    • Ability to balance between technical execution, customer analytics and the creative process
    • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and best practices
    • A superb eye for attention to detail, style, and composition
