  • Responsibilities

    Background & Purpose of the Job

    The primary purpose of the Associate Customer Business Manager (ACBM) Foods & Refreshments position is to develop sustained business relationships with Albertsons Seattle/Haggen and to drive profitable sales volume through customer. The ACBM is responsible for achieving volume goals while maintaining spending goals based on what brands and customers are trying to achieve according to their joint business plan. They maintain distribution shelving to promote equality with good return rates by managing plan-o-grams with the retail team. It is imperative that they have a working knowledge of the consumer cross functions. The ACBM will also have responsibility for streamlining Tea sales materials in partnership with the Albertsons Sales Analyst.

    • Manage the relationship with the Sales Managers and interface with customer
    • Coordinate Annual Planning efforts
    • Drive trade investment effectiveness and efficiency
    • Customize corporate marketing and merchandising programs with customer
    • Develop corporate marketing and merchandising programs
    • Coordinate, and manage, Category Management initiatives
    • Manage plan-o-grams and retail initiatives with the retail team
    • Manage NSV and trade investment
    • Routinely interface with multiple internal and external departments/personnel
    • Coordinate Joint Business Plans with customer
    • The need to balance individual customer needs, while ensuring total Market integrity
    • The need to drive Strategic Relationships and accelerated growth, while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters, and driving trade investment effectiveness and efficiency
    • Work effectively as part of a Customer Team, while maintaining a positive Connection and relationship with other direct teams

  • Qualifications

    What You’ll Need To Succeed

    • Undergraduate degree is required
    • Must be skilled in verbal and written communications
    • Strong business acumen
    • Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
    • Proven Business Manager experience with a key customer is a must
    • Trade Marketing and Category Management experience is a plus
    • Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
    • Must have strong relationship building and management skills
    • Working knowledge of IRI, AMPS, Loyalty Card Data and Customer POS Data is strongly desired
