We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join WayUp!
WayUp is the premier digital platform for college students to connect directly with employers for part-time, internship, and entry-level work opportunities.
As a BDR on the WayUp Sales Team, your job is getting in touch with as many recruiting prospects as possible, establishing if WayUp is a good fit for their needs and connecting the prospect to the appropriate WayUp Account Executive. You’ll be the first point of contact many companies will have with WayUp, and you’ll need to make the best first impression possible!
Responsibilities:
Creating, running and maintaining outbound email campaigns
Making 75-100 calls per day to prospect lists
Prospecting 50-75 new pipeline leads per day
Setting qualifying appointments with interested prospects to understand their plans for campus recruiting
Explaining the benefits of WayUp and the solutions that we can provide
Determining the prospect’s internal decision-making process
Scheduling a platform demo with the appropriate AE
0-2 years of sales experience
Great communication and writing skills a must
Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to change (we’re a startup!)
Team player mindset
Really Great to Have:
Previous BDR/SDR experience
Experience in the recruiting industry
Experience using Salesforce and Salesloft
Lead prospecting experience
