    WE'RE DEVELOPING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

    Our Business Services Development Program helps cybersecurity enthusiasts develop a transferrable skillset for a meaningful career in information security. Through significant assignments, comprehensive training and exposure to dynamic leaders, you'll develop into a well-rounded professional while helping us build the bank of the future. After all, diversity and inclusion is an essential element of our success here at Citizens. NOTE: THIS FULL-TIME PROGRAM BEGINS IN EARLY JUNE 2021

    EXPERIENCE DURING THE PROGRAM

    In this year-long program you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to support and protect critical IT related systems in a complex enterprise environment. You'll begin by completing 2-weeks of onboarding and training which includes team building and social activities as well as overviews of the different areas of business services. During this time you will also have the opportunity to network with past Business Services Development Program alums who can serve as mentors to help guide you through the duration of the program. Then, you'll continue to gain relevant experience by completing 4-month rotations in three of the following businesses: Security Engineering, Identity Access Management (IAM), Cyber Defense, and Security Operations Center (SOC). During your business rotations, you could be working on:

    • Optmizing existing security capabilities and the design / service delivery of next generation security technologies.
    • Assist in the design and maintenance of enterprise security standards, design patterns, and capability roadmaps to ensure and demonstrate currency and sustainability of Citizens Bank enterprise security architecture. Convergedigital modernization efforts through APIs and IAM technologies to create uniform authenticationexperiences for our customers.
    • Instrumentation and application of coarse and fine grained user access controls to ensurecolleagues only have access to the data they are approved and required to have access to.
    • Support proactive security monitoring of critical, flagship banking and money movement applications.
    • Assist the Cyber Defense team in establishing a security data repository that ingests all security telemetry and builds an analytical solution for real-time situational awareness.

    As an Associate in this program, you'll also have the opportunity to participate concurrently in Early Career Development Programming (ECDP) - a robust, 4-month program designed to give our new colleagues a strong foundation of Citizens Bank. Through the ECDP, you'll experience

    • 2-day Orientation in downtown Boston with all bank-wide development program colleagues
    • Professional development workshops (such as Agile Methodologies and Communicating with Impact)
    • Customer and client site visits
    • Networking opportunities with senior leadership
    • Dedicated community service activities
    • Strategic Challenge where you'll work in small teams to solve for an organizational problem and present your recommendations to a panel of executives

    LIFE AFTER THE PROGRAM

    Upon successful completion of the Program, graduates will be placed on a cybersecurity focused team where you will continue to develop. Further, you'll continue to have access to a growing community of Citizens development program alums that will prove invaluable throughout your career journey! You may also have the opportunity to partner closely with the Program Management team on recruiting related activities as well as future program planning and design.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    We're looking for self-starters, team players, and strategic thinkers. To be successful in this program, you'll need to display strong skills and characteristics including: analytical and critical thinking, communication, data analysis, attention to detail, initiative, interpersonal, leadership, learning agility, project management, relationship building, strategic mindset, and time management.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, MIS, CIS or other related discipline with coursework in cyber or information security
    • Expected graduation date of May 2021
    • Minimum GPA of 3.00 required
    • Internship or other relevant corporate exposure is preferred
