The Engineering intern will work with Engineering professionals within BNSF Logistics. You'll be working on hands-on projects to support the engineering department through hands on, real-time projects through the course of this 10-week experience. This experience will help you grow both professionally and personally.

Primary Functions:

Throughout the 10-week internship the intern will experience tasks related to our engineering department in Dallas, TX. Projects could include: over-dimensional transportation solutions, rail car modifications, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

A highly effective engineering intern is detail oriented, curious by nature, comfortable in using AutoCAD, has excellent communication, etc. Has completed 75 credit hours by the time of the internship.

Candidates with the following will be preferred:

• GIS (Geographic Information System)
• AutoCAD Civil 3D exposure
• Surveying experience or classwork
• Previous construction work experience of any type, for any length
