    SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP

    The Commercial Market Development Internship position provides an opportunity for students who are currently pursuing a life science and/or marketing degree with an interest in business development to get hands on experience by developing and growing our Laboratory Plastics Essentials Labware portfolio by positioning them in key markets, developing sales enablement tools, training and support. THE POSITION STARTS IN JUNE, PAID WORKING 40 HOURS PER WEEK THROUGH AUGUST. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Drive Labware portfolio positioning in marketplace and support application marketing strategy development
    • Assess gaps, develop and enhance product, portfolio and application sales tools and training materials needed to support business strategy and growth in key customer segments and target markets.
    • Define capability requirements of sales team; work with regional sales leaders to deliver proper training on applications, products and competitive landscape
    • Evaluate and continuously evolve existing and new communications channels and platforms to drive high-engagement and satisfaction across all segments of our commercial organization and ultimately delivery of the most relevant content to our end customers.
    • Develop regional commercial product plan, in coordination with Product Management, Sales Management, Supply Chain, Marketing and Channels, to reach growth targets
    • Drive initiatives with sales team and channel partners to ensure good execution
    • Using analytics and insights, continuously refine programs to improve profitability and relevance for internal and end customers.
    • Engage and collect field intel and insights from Commercial Team
  • Qualifications
    • Pursing BS in Life Science or Business
