    YOUR JOB

    Indeed is seeking a summer associate with a passion for promoting economic opportunity in the New York City and Stamford, CT region. As the summer associate for Community Impact Initiatives, the intern will support ongoing outreach to important non-profit, business, and government stakeholders that Indeed can partner with to help job seekers facing barriers get jobs. An important part of the summer associate’s work will include conducting an analysis of prospective partners to identify which organizations Indeed is best suited to partner with and outlining how we can approach a partnership to achieve shared outcomes.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist Head of Northeast Region’s Head of Community Impact in ongoing outreach to a robust network of new partners in New York City and Stamford, CT region.

    • Perform relevant research to inform strategic initiatives.

    • Take detailed meeting notes, capturing relevant action items and elevating them to the appropriate stakeholders.

    • Execute detailed reconciliation of outreach performed against Indeed’s priority areas for supporting job seekers facing barriers to employment and articulate opportunities for collaboration with prospective partners.

    • Work, as needed, with teammates across Indeed to execute on critical functions related to Community Impact’s priorities.

    • Perform other duties, as needed, focused on strengthening the Community Impact team’s capacity to perform against its goals.

    • Ability to translate ideas and concepts into tangible outcomes, including effective tracking thereof.

    • Interest in learning and navigating the highly-matrixed, vast network of prospective partners and collaborators in the New York City and Stamford, CT region.

    • Strong researcher with ability to appropriately define project scope and workplans considering relevant constraints.

    • Humble and helpful collaborator with our external partners and internal colleagues.

    • Excellent written and verbal communications with ability to adapt style, message, and format across diverse internal and external audiences.

    • Energized by working in a fast-paced, data-driven culture.

    • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment across multiple geographic locations and time zones.

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
