West Monroe is seeking entry-level consultants for our High-Tech & Software Practice. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with your colleagues across our national practice to service clients in a range of initiatives centered on strategic growth, operational excellence, innovation, and digital transformation.

Consultants in our High-Tech & Software practice have these primary responsibilities:

• Collaborate on teams that are serving clients across High-Tech & Software sectors (e.g., enterprise software, hardware, software-led services), while demonstrating executive presence when interacting with Executive-level clients.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person client work sessions and meetings focused on formulating strategy, defining organizational structures, and crafting business processes to support client’s transformational and growth initiatives
• Assess business and operating models and organizational structures against leading practices and industry benchmarks 
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to define aspirational customer experiences and journeys and formulate plans to operationalize the desired experience
• Work with engagement leadership to implement operational processes and technology that support value creation and process efficiency across functions 
• Gather and analyze financial and operational metrics (e.g., net retention, customer acquisition cost, gross margin, etc.) and compare with leading practices and performance
• Drive the development/enhancement of West Monroe's High-Tech and Software offerings and methodologies for client delivery 
• Understand and interpret competitive and market trends and synthesize them to inform client strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the WMP Mergers & Acquisitions practice to support diligence and related transactions in high-tech and software.
• Support business development activities such as proposal creation, thought leadership (white papers, blogs, offerings), marketing, etc.
• Support team growth and talent acquisition activities and events related to recruiting and onboarding.

Here’s what you need to bring to the table:

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit  
• Recent experience or proficiency with high-tech and/or enterprise software industry projects desired  
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills  
• Strong communication skills to work with client representatives at all levels  
• Nimble attitude (diversity in project experience, comfortable with new subject matter/industries) 
• Knowledge of business process/operational consulting in high-tech and software companies 
• Experience or exposure to project management methodology, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management, change management, strategic planning and analysis 
• Enthusiastic, friendly, motivated, and positive team builder

• Bachelor’s degree in process 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation   
• Ability to Travel Monday - Thursday (weekly) up to 70%
