You’re ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to the boardroom, and Citi wants to help you get there. Whether it’s honing your skills or building your network, we know that success can’t come without growth. Our programs equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team, and establish a long-term career here. At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when.
Citi’s US Consumer Banking division is looking for Summer Analysts to join the Citi Cards, Consumer Digital, and Global Consumer Marketing teams. Credit and debit cards started as a convenient way to pay for things, but they have become so much more than that. Cards can make you shop at a certain store more than other stores, give you valuable loyalty rewards, and even serve as status symbols. Many steps are involved in moving a credit card from idea to reality, and the following teams are involved in different ways: Sales & Marketing, Product Management, Risk Management, Decision Management, and the Chief Operating Office. A lot of people don’t think twice about the cards that are sitting in their wallets, but you will have a behind-the-scenes look at how they come about.
The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June and begins with a one-week, in-depth training program. After a placement process based on your interests and our business needs, you will join a Consumer team to work with for the next nine weeks. People learn differently so we’re combining formal training with a complete hands-on experience to help you quickly ramp up and adapt to your role, and the culture at Citi. During the Program, you will be paired with a mentor who will help you develop professionally, and top-performing Summer Analysts are eligible for a full-time offer upon graduation.
Your time here will look something like this... Depending on the team you join, you will get experience in one of the following areas:
Sales & Marketing
Product Management
Risk Management
Decision Management
Chief Operating Office (COO)
We want to hear from you if...

We’re looking for people who think of ideas that make others say, "I wish I thought of that." Degrees in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, or Business Management are preferred, but we are open to all disciplines. We value diversity and so do you. We’ll also be looking for the following:
