YOUR JOB

The Investments & Strategy team is an integral part of Indeed's Corporate Development organization. We are responsible for supporting the business to develop long-term strategy and driving the effort to source, evaluate, and execute on investment opportunities. We develop deep knowledge and forward thinking on the HR Tech industry, and aspire to be the "knowledge center” for senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market and competitive analysis to develop deep insights into target sectors of the HR tech and business applications landscape 
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop strategic proposals; influence senior leadership through presentations and written communications
• Develop relationships with entrepreneurs to deepen your understanding of the market and source investment opportunities
• Prepare investment proposals, perform due diligence, and execute venture investments into early-stage companies
• Ongoing investment portfolio management
• Other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related business field
• 2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, hedge fund, or product management in the technology industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down problems and analyze data 
• Knowledge of HR Tech industry is a plus, but not required

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
