    POSITION OVERVIEW

    As a Data Cleansing and Coding Analyst on the Client Experience team you will help manage, clean, and analyze large amounts of data in a team-based setting, providing support to internal teams and clients. Primary responsibilities include the download, manipulation, cleaning, management, and analyzing of data within Excel and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Additionally, you will be tasked with using proprietary tools to develop historical analyses of categories and products within a retail environment to better determine future performance. Timely completion of these tasks is necessary to our client deliverables and you will be critical in ensuring delivery.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manipulate, manage, and segment data – involves gathering data from various sources on a monthly basis and tagging items according to attribute characteristics to ensure they can be accurately recognized by our proprietary Perfect Category software platform
    • Load, clean, and query data within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
    • Use proprietary tools to generate regression models measuring historical category performance for use within the Perfect Category platform
    • Quality Assurance testing to ensure the integrity of the data outputs and the tools we utilize
  • Qualifications

    KEY CAPABILITIES

    • Experience in Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, and statistics/regression modeling preferred but not necessary
    • Strong interest in business, shopper marketing, consumer goods, and retail
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
    • Logical thought process and ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing
    • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
