As an engineer in Analytics Enablement, you will have the opportunity to work throughout the entire data pipeline; from the point where raw data is created, to the tools that our product teams use to derive insights. The Interview Signal team is a new team in Analytics Enablement, focusing on enabling development of our interview platform by providing data processing and tooling as the platform grows. We’re working in AWS using Athena to process data using SQL. We work with an in-house Rust orchestration system that understands dataset time series, dependencies, and validity.
WHO YOU ARE
As a Data Engineer, you’ve been responsible for creating and maintaining an optimal pipeline architecture. You’ve been coordinating with company stakeholders and other teams to create unique data infrastructure, running tests on their designs to isolate errors, and updating systems to accommodate changes in company needs.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data engineer working in one of the following technologies: Rust, Java, Python, C#, or Go as well as experience with SQL
Knowledge of one of the following technologies: Rust, Java, Python, C#, or Go
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience
Experience creating large scale datasets that align with business requirements
Identifying, designing and implementing internal data infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using cloud technologies such as AWS and relational database technologies such as MySQL or SQL Server
Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business metrics
Working with stakeholders to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues
Implementing web services at scale to integrate with relevant data architecture
Building a frontend experience to surface your data to stakeholders

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
