YOUR JOB

Indeed is seeking a dynamic Employment Tax Associate who will join our in-house tax team that is responsible for all employment tax matters globally. This role will report to our US Employment Tax Senior Manager and is to be based in the New York City area.

As part of the Employment Tax function within the tax team you'll play an important role in the organization. You will work closely with our global employment tax team, US payroll operational managers, Human Resources, Stock Admin, Global Mobility, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Tax teams to ensure we are fulfilling our employment tax obligations in the US.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Work on a number of employment tax / payroll special projects as they arise

• Support with the coordination of US Federal & State employment tax audits

• Provide employment tax advice and coordinate with internal stakeholders on all benefit and perk programs, Mergers & Acquisitions, and payroll initiatives to develop tax positions to ensure compliance to local tax and reporting regulations.

• Collaborating with the Global Mobility team on tax aspects associated with our globally mobile employees, remote workers and displaced employees.

• Collaborating closely with both the Global Mobility and Payroll teams to establish streamlined processes.

WHO YOU ARE

• You will bring 2+ years of relevant employment tax experience to the role. In-house employment tax / global mobility experience preferred but not essential.

• You will have demonstrated experience in employment and mobility tax, global compensation reporting and payroll processes.

• Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including the experience flexing to changing circumstances and priorities.

• Self-starter and fast learner and experience working with multiple teams

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required

• CPA Qualified

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
