Use Accolade’s rich people engagement data to make our healthcare system easier to navigate. This position will use statistical analysis to identify patterns to help get people the resources they need quickly and easily. Accolade’s Summer Interns will gain a front-row seat to the most important challenges the company faces. These interns will own discrete deliverables but also work together to ensure the ultimate output of the intern group is more than the sum of its parts. They’ll be asked to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to lend their skills and intellect to other important topics that may arise throughout the summer. We’re looking for individuals who are excited about our ambitious mission, passionate about the value of our service, and keen to roll up their sleeves and contribute from the outset.

You will be:

• Analyzing and documenting important business questions
• Defining and validating target metrics
• Modeling user interactions, call volumes, user satisfaction using various analytics techniques
• Communicating and brainstorming around analysis findings

• Skill or interest in AWS
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview
• Coursework or experience in healthcare or insurance
• Must possess the natural curiosity to solve problems using data and data models
• Efficient in using MS Office with strong knowledge of Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables
• Demonstrated ability to extract and manipulate data using tools such as SQL
• Proficient in R, Python or SAS for statistical analysis
• Graduate-level coursework in one of the following quantitative areas: data science, advanced analytics, mathematics, machine learning, computer science, engineering.
