  • Responsibilities

    You will get to work direcly with the VP of Client Engagement, who guides our customer engagement strategy across marketing, sales and account management, and needs your help in various ways in support of that strategy. Often, you will be solving problems before anyone realizes there is a problem to solve.

    In your first few weeks, you will work with the VP of Client Engagement to define specific objectives and key results that you can achieve in your first 90 days. This is a new role, and you will have a voice in how you spend your time and what you need to succeed.

    Some travel may be required.

    Success will look like:

    Within 90 days

    • You develop a deep enough understanding of XWP, what we do, and our client profile to be able to talk knowledgeably about XWP and qualify potential clients on your own.
    • You learn about our existing accounts through client meetings and internal conversations, and you're able to raise a flag if there's any issues that might stand in the way of a successful relationship.

    Within 6 Months

    • You are helping to identify challenges with existing clients before they become problems, and identifying ideal clients for XWP with little guidance.
    • The VP of Client Engagement will be there when needed, but you will have the tools you need to independently guide communication between client accounts and service delivery teams.
    • Through your reporting and documentation of customer situations, you will help create more transparency and deliver consistent customer service.

    Activities

    • When an existing client has an urgent need you will make sure the right people know about it.
    • When you identify risks within an active project, you will work with the team to get all the facts, knowing when to take action on your own, and when to escalate to VP of Client Engagement.
    • When someone wants to learn more about XWP, you have a call with them to see if it may be a good fit for both sides. Just to be clear, these conversations are with people who want to talk to us, and it helps us find potential new clients. You will not be making outbound "cold calls."
    • When we need info, your effective use of our CRM, Slack, and other remote communication tools makes it easy to find what we need to know with clear and organized records of client interactions.
    • When things change, you will make quick decisions with confidence, adjust to changing priorities, and be really flexible about how we get things accomplished.
    • Find new ways to make the account coordination process and client engagement process as efficient as possible while proactively looking for ways to expand your own knowledge.
