    YOUR JOB

    Indeed is hiring a Global Intercompany Accountant to join our Global Intercompany Accounting team (part of Global Financial Services). The Accounting team consists of experienced, motivated, and self-sufficient high performers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills. This role will report to the Global Intercompany Manager. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for global intercompany transactions including Indeed Group Management and Reseller fees 

    • Assist with all month end accounting and reporting tasks, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reports

    • Responsible for intercompany transactions between entities within our Strategic Business Unit

    • Key partner to Tax, Legal, Treasury and Compliance teams to support transfer pricing arrangements, intercompany loan agreements & treasury agreements. 

    • Preparation of global intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and reporting requirements

    • Coordination with other intercompany partners to ensure that balances are in sync during the close process

    • Responsible for intercompany revaluation process and related foreign exchange transactions. 

    • Preparation of all the balance sheet accounts related to specific intercompany ledgers

    • Responsible for intercompany invoicing and settlement process in compliance with accounting policies

    • Ensure that accounts are properly aged and settled in a timely manner

    • Responsible for consolidated intercompany reporting to our Parent each Quarter

    • Assist in developing intercompany policies and procedures as required

    • Assist with both internal and external audit requests

    • Drive process improvements and efficiencies

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years post qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ CPA

    • Prior experience in a multinational, multi entity and multi-currency environment required

    • Very Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Track record of working independently with limited required direction and guidance on simultaneous projects and teams

    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic multinational environment.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel

    • Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS reporting

    • Workday Financials experience is preferred not not required

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
