YOUR JOB

The Enterprise Candidates team is focused on enabling our enterprise customers to hire great talent efficiently at a larger scale. To do so, we are reengineering a product suite from the ground up with that new customer base in mind, while building infrastructure that powers a seamless experience at scale and integrates with other Indeed products. 

On the Candidate Management team, you will be building a brand new suite of tools, using modern frontend architecture, for candidate organization and evaluation that provides specific feature sets catered to enterprise clients, while also utilizing previous work done at Indeed for small/medium businesses whenever possible.

Once the groundwork has been laid, this team will be making fast iterative tests in order to move the product as a whole to a state that is more friendly to larger customers. 

Some responsibilities would include:

• Working closely with stakeholders to understand/identify critical business needs and problem areas. We ask the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ before the ‘how’

• Design and develop simple and sustainable solutions to complex problems

• Constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to reuse existing Indeed technologies before rolling your own

• Collaborating with teams across Indeed in order to solve common problems

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent field

• You have previous experience with React

• A general knowledge of AWS and running applications in the cloud is a plus

• You are heavily interested in frontend development and are ready and willing to learn the latest technologies and patterns

• You react positively to feedback and freely give it to your peers in code reviews, design reviews, whiteboard sessions, and general meetings

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
