Product Creation & Experience provides our customers with an inspiring starting point to create products that set them up for success. We proactively research and identify customer needs, create on trend professional designs, and iterate based on performance and changes in the market. We are the professional design partners for our customers and our internal organization.

TEAM OBJECTIVE: 

Become the customer destination for best-in-class, professional, customizable design.   Product Creation & Experience is looking for a motivated and talented Graphic Design Intern to contribute and support our Graphic Designers and Art Designers during our busiest Holiday Creative Season.  This is a full-time paid summer internship (May - August 2022), with the potential to extend into a part-time position during the school year. Throughout the summer, you will have opportunities to network with leaders both within the CX&M organization and across other functions, through speaker sessions, mentorship experiences and more. As a remote internship, candidates can be located anywhere in the United States. A company-issued laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Create assets and layouts as needed for templated printed designs
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Good artistic capacity and strong visual, verbal, written communication skills
• Ability to apply their creative flair in elevating designs while staying within the original concept
• Attention to detail in applying product guidelines and best practices
• Must be able to adapt new technology and design trends
• Responsibility for the application of all process within function (Design Reviews, Quality Checks, etc.)
• Turn art direction and feedback into positive learning experiences
• Takes constructive feedback and turns it in to positive customer experience
• Provide assistance and support to Graphic Designers and Art Directors
• Communicate effectively

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Student in the design field or seeking experience in the design field
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Software suite
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  Your Experience:

• Portfolio that demonstrates understanding of typography, layout with strong concept skills
• Basic experience in Adobe CC; Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, and other design industry standard tools
• Deadline-oriented, flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities
• A working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
• Ability and desire to learn additional technologies and applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills in order to work effectively with a team of designers, project managers, Art Directors and senior leaders
