    We are currently seeking a High School English Teacher.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead whole-class instruction and teach small groups using an inquiry-based, rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity, reinforces the joy of learning, and enables all students to thrive
    • Teach sections of humanities, literature, and composition & rhetoric
    • Engage scholars through a rigorous humanities curriculum that inspires in them a passion for scholarship and education and enables our students to thrive
    • Engage in training with school leaders to benefit from targeted, in-the-moment feedback on instruction, accelerated learning and growth with unparalleled support
    • Develop meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning and make exceptional academic gains
    • Join a highly motivated team committed to education reform, parent choice, and the building of exemplary schools
  • Qualifications

    We invite you to apply if you:

    • Have or will receive a Bachelor’s degree by Spring 2021; English, Literature, Writing, Journalism majors preferred
    • Achieved outstanding academic results
    • Set ambitious goals for yourself and others, and are not afraid of putting in the hard work it takes to achieve them
    • Have confidence and presence -- You enjoy taking the lead and inspiring others with your passion and commitment
    • Enjoy collaborating with others (ex: play on an athletics team or in a band/orchestra)
    • Have leadership experience (ex: leadership position on a club or team; experience overseeing/managing people)
    • Pay strong attention to detail and have experience juggling multiple responsibilities while planning around competing priorities
    • Have experience working with a group of children
    • Embody the character traits we value in our ETHOS - Excellence, Teamwork, Humor, Ownership, and making sure our Scholars are top of mind
