    OVERVIEW:

    In this role, the Systems and Robotics Testing Intern will support systems and sub-system testing, test method development, and engineering investigations for the Monarch product platform.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Job responsibilities may include:

    • Work closely with R&D engineers to develop test methods for design verification, including MSA/R&R activity and developing fixtures and scripts as needed
    • Perform root cause investigations and designs / executes experiments as warranted to address failures and observations, or in support of other product development needs.
    • Apply statistical and problem solving (e.g. fishbone, 5-whys, DMAIC principles) analysis methods as needed in any investigation / experimental work.
    • Qualify test methods and scripts for use in design verification.
    • Write and execute design verification and engineering test protocols; analyzes data and authors test reports
    • Other related duties may be assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Education: Undergraduate with 2+ years towards a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, EE, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated success with experimental design and investigative techniques.
    • Demonstrated hands-on approach and sense of ownership in team environments
    • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with Solidworks, Matlab, and Python preferred
    • Experience with statistical analysis techniques and statistical software a plus
