JOB SUMMARY

CenturyLink's internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Strategic Planning and Transformation division will be part of an accelerated learning experience to challenge existing skills and develop new skills, while working on active CenturyLink work projects. The team needs an intern to help with Test Automation strategies within a DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipeline. This person will learn Test Driven Development strategies and learn how to automate testing for enterprise applications. This internship will take place in Broomfield, CO. In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Become a Scrum team member within the enterprise sales enablement engineering organization.
• Learn Agile methodologies and DevOps strategies by contributing to the test automation.
• People who have started in this role will learn basic Object Oriented Programming concepts for Test Driven Development strategies and create a base foundation to enterprise application development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (senior level education status at time of the internship)
• Field of Study: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or program related to programming and development.
• Familiar with basic Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Familiar with Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development and test automation concepts for unit testing, service/API testing and UI test automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Available during specified internship timeframe; June 1, 2020 - August 7, 2020
• Reliable transportation to/from work daily
