    JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY

    The Clorox Company Internship Program is a 10-week summer experience that runs from June through August. Interns are provided meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience highlighting what you would do in a similar role following completion of your degree and working at the company on a regular, fulltime basis. Through the course of the summer, interns participate in:

    • Formal, two-day orientation and program kick off
    • Peer-level mentorship and connection points with functional and company executives
    • Community Engagement activity
    • Soft-skills training and development exercises
    • Clorox Interns are provided summer benefits including:
      • Roundtrip airfare (to work location/return home at end of Summer) or Transportation Subsidy

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    IT Onboarding Intern

    As an IT Onboarding Intern, you will collaborate with the IT Communications & Training manager and various IT employees to:

    • define IT onboarding needs and resources
    • create an IT onboarding SharePoint site
    • propose and document an ownership structure and update schedule to ensure information is current and correct

    Big Audacious Goal 1: Create awareness and education of the site by presenting it to IT functional teams in team meetings Big Audacious Goal 2: Expand the IT Onboarding to site to include all IT training resources by developing a prototype of an IT Learning & Development SharePoint site.

  • Qualifications

    KEY SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    Required Qualifications

    • Rising Junior or Senior (Undergraduate) or Masters student majoring in Management Information Systems, Education, or Training & Development
    • Desired GPA: 2.75 or higher
    • The ideal candidate will have some academic knowledge or experience in website design and usability.
    • Experience working with MS Office Products with a primary focus on SharePoint.
    • The ability to think critically and consider how website is utilized by users, which will be key to ensuring its adoption and effectiveness.
    • Passion for all things people and onboarding.
    • Experience working with a large team or group to solve a problem/implement a solution.
    • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills which are paramount to the success of this role.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with results-oriented mindset.
