    Passionate about audio systems? Looking to spend your summer working with both products AND customers that go into smartphones, tablets, headsets, wearables, and more? Cirrus Logic’s Customer Quality Engineering team is looking for an intern to help us work across the organization’s engineering teams to solve customer issues which most importantly helps us maintain great customer relationships. This position is ideally suited for someone with great interpersonal skills who has a passion for both being an engineer and learning about customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Be the “voice of the customer” in order to help drive and influence the implementation of programs that will lead to products and service quality improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand customer reported issues and maintain customer return database
    • Attend weekly customer meetings to discuss open issues
    • Automate and optimize internal monitoring systems
  • Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • A passion for Audio and are able to work in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
    • Currently enrolled in a B.S. pursuing Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Material Science
    • Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Experience using test equipment such as Audio Precision analyzers, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer
    • Proficient in writing MATLAB and Python scripts
    • Good hardware and software debug skills
    • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing
