ROLE OVERVIEW...

The INTERN, ENGAGEMENT SOLUTIONS (DATA ANALYTICS), reporting to SR. MANAGER OF CUSTOMER SUCCESS, willgain a front-row seat to the most meaty challenges the company is tackling. These interns will own discrete deliverables but also work together to ensure the ultimate output of the intern group is more than the sum of its parts. They'll be asked to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to lend their skills and intellect to other important topics that may arise throughout the summer. We're looking for individuals who are excited about our ambitious mission, passionate about the value of our service, and keen to roll up their sleeves and contribute from the outset. The intern will collect requirements, write code, develop dashboards, and QA data that leaders will leverage in business decision-making.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

• Understanding and documentation ofbusiness questions.
• Definition and validation of target metrics.
• Modeling of user interactions, call volumes, user satisfaction using various analytics techniques.
• Communication of and brainstorming around analysis findings.
• Coding data into visualizations intended for an executive audience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR...

• Undergraduate level coursework in one of the following quantitative areas: computer science, business intelligence, data science, advanced analytics, mathematics, machine learning, engineering.
• Proficient in BI tools like QlikSense, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Demonstrated ability to extract and manipulate data using tools such as SQL. Efficient in using MS Office with strong knowledge of Excel, including use of formulas and pivot tables.
• Must possess the natural curiousity to solve problems using data and data models.

The following are preferred, but not required

• Skill or interest in AWS.
• Coursework or experience in health care or insurance.
• Business or economics courses.
