As a Technical Analyst you will collaborate with other members of the operations, product and engineering teams to analyze, automate and build data-driven solutions. You would develop quality measurement systems and improve operational efficiency through data analysis and tool development which will ultimately help people get jobs. Responsibilities:

• Build data sets from disparate sources, design and develop quality measurement systems and data visualizations based on large sets of manual reviewed data

• Provide data tooling and analysis to expedite workflows, automate processes, and improve the precision of manual processes where needed

• Assist the development of ETL pipelines using SQL, Python and other languages to automate data transformation & preparation

• Research and convert raw data into clear, concise proposals for stakeholders using statistical data analysis techniques 

• Create stunning and functional Business Intelligence Dashboards with Tableau

• Be able to self manage projects and perform requirements gathering, scoping and implementing Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

• Perform peer code reviews and practice clean code principles

• Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to distill complex and diverse business problems into simple, effective solutions. 

• Contribute to team goals and metrics

• Work in partnership with cross functional stakeholders like Operations, Engineering, and Product across Indeed

• Learning product and project management skills to manage various aspects of a project from start to completion

• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes post-implementation to ensure continued efficacy and impact

• Drive key performance metrics such as automation quality, volume mitigation, and operational efficiency

• Provide technical solutions in response to operational escalations, delivering the highest level of satisfaction

WHO YOU ARE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with quantitative coursework (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Engineering) or a related quantitative field or 2+ years relevant experience

• Without degree need minimum of 2 years exp with Python

• 1-2 years experience using Pandas for data manipulation and transformation

• Experience with Tableau or equivalency to create impactful reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards

• 1-2 years experience of writing complex and highly-optimized SQL queries

• Experience using iPython (Jupyter) Notebooks 

• Experience collecting, cleaning, and analyzing vast amounts of structured and unstructured ambiguous data

• Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes

• Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and assumptions

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong emphasis on collaboration

• Curiosity and passionate ion about data, visualization and solving problems

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
