YOUR JOB
The Legal Operations Analyst is a highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to lead projects effectively from beginning to end. You will work closely with our team of in-house attorneys to provide support and guidance for legal-related initiatives and to collaborate proactively with other departments on the resolution of product and business issues.
Responsibilities
Analyze the Marketing team’s requests for legal review, and present the resulting research to attorneys by providing detailed background, assessing risk vs. benefit, anticipating areas of conflict and proposing creative solutions on the go
Ensure that all requests are reviewed in accordance with our policies and applicable advertising and data protection laws and regulations
Document legal recommendations and communicate them to stakeholders using appropriate terminology and discretion
Represent the Legal team in cross-functional projects and ensure that Legal’s requirements are understood and implemented by other teams and departments
Gather and interpret data to identify trends and implement process improvements within the Legal team and with stakeholders in other departments
Develop training sessions and resources for stakeholders
Assist with intellectual property inquiries from internal and external stakeholders when needed
Assist attorneys and other teams with ad hoc research and projects as necessary
WHO YOU ARE
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
1+ years demonstrated work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Experience designing and implementing new organizational procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
Team player with strong influencing and communication skills at all organizational levels
Self-directed, organized and capable of handling multiple, complex projects
Comfortable with ambiguity and ever-changing circumstances while able to exercise sound judgment in decision-making
Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature
A plus if you have:
Proficiency in a second language such as German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian
Experience working with Privacy and Data Protection laws and regulations
Long-term and/or globally scaled project management experience

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
