• F-35 Low Observable Materials and Process position to provide production line and field non-conformance disposition coordination for LO Material Systems as part of the F-35 Signature Integration Team Execute affordability and other improvement program plans related to LO materials
• Support creation of LO material development plans, material test/qualification matrices, component and flight test plans, material and application specifications
• Perform lab evaluations and or interface with lab personnel
• Provide LO Materials and Processes support to Signature Integration, Supportable LO, Manufacturing, Production Operations, Test Engineers, ESH, Supply Chain Management, Sustainment organizations as required
• Integrate and coordinate with Suppliers developing and/or providing material systems or material solutions
• US and International travel likely

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or other related technical field
• Must be a US citizen or able to work in the U.S. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Low Observables Materials familiarity desired
• Experience with using or executing material evaluations with modern lab evaluation hardware including but not limited to: DSC, DMA, various forms of Spectroscopy, environmental/physical/mechanical test equipment, etc.
