We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and motivated junior or senior who is interested in jumping right into our Marketing Team here at WayUp.

WayUp’s Summer Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting WayUp’s Head of Marketing, Senior Editor and Senior Marketing Managers in their day to day marketing operations.

Our Marketing Intern will be involved in everything from content creation/editing/promotion, paid ads support, SEO, to graphics/design.

This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in many facets of Marketing. You will gain experience in marketing, ad operations, branding and communication – perfect if you want to get into marketing but not sure exactly what you want to do.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in the research, creation and ideation of paid ads on platforms such as Facebook, Google.

• Help support, optimize and grow our YouTube channel

• Help optimize articles and other content for readability and SEO

• Support growing our Resource Center / Guide by uploading articles on a regular basis

• Help optimize and update jobs listings on a weekly or monthly basis.

• Upload content to syndicated content partner networks

• Other marketing projects as they come up

Be available 40 hours per week to come into the WayUp office in Midtown Manhattan, New York.

• A rising college junior or senior, as of this May or June 2017

• Detail oriented, high energy, positive-minded, quick learner, self-starter, multi-tasker

• Social media savvy and always in the know of new trends and cultural fads

• Comfortable with voicing new ideas

• Comfortable with drafting emails and other content

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong organizational skills

• Understanding of SEO is a plus
