    What you'll be doing:

    • Marketing project management
    • Some data entry for launch project
    • Editing and posting articles and blog posts on marketing
    • Creating case studies
    • Creating sales materials - Taking lots of messaging and data, creating a story, and laying out pages to hand off to a designer
    • Project management - You’ll have a set of things that you’ll be running and I need you to update me on them daily/weekly
    • Prototype testing and messaging - We’re building an app, so we need you to understand how that works and contribute

  • Qualifications

    Writing

    • Exceptional writing skills, storytelling, and the flexibility to write in all styles and formats. Think: Case studies, articles, blog posts, white papers, thoughtful emails, copy-editing, etc.
    • You don’t need to know how to write them now, but you need to be able to train yourself to write in line with industry standards. I’ll help you get there.

    ‘Getting it’

    • The ability to hear what is asked for, interpret what’s needed, ask the necessary questions, balance speed and perfection, and then deliver Political/campaign experience is a big plus here
    • You need to be able to get to high quality quickly - knowing or asking when to spend 10 hours on something and when to spend 1 hour on something.

    Analytical Rigor

    • Understanding of how to break down business and data challenges is needed. Coursework in economics or statistics is helpful.

    Intellect and Curiosity

    • Proof of academic or professional excellence is required. Got into a great school? Won prizes for writing? Led your high school newspaper and innovated on coverage and formats? Campaigned and then worked for your state senator/favorite advocacy group in school?
    • You are insatiable in learning new skills.

    Interest in Technology

    • Be ready to talk about business models, consumer and business trends, and appreciation for the innovation process.

    Integrity and Contribution

    • Honesty, humility, and a strong work ethic are required. There are many other places that would be lucky to have you. Come work here if you are consistently challenged to do the right thing and you actively seek out coaching and feedback.
    • In this role, you learn as you help others grow their businesses. Taking responsibility for your contribution and enjoying supporting others is needed. Participating in people’s livelihoods is serious business.

    Basic Digital Skills and Tools

      • Knowledge of the Google Suite, Powerpoint/Keynote, Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, et al.) are recommended - or you’ll need to learn them before you start.
    • Design tools and background (InDesign, Photoshop, Squarespace) are a huge plus!

    Experience being a or selling to women

    • A couple of our projects are focused on women, so you need to be able to get in their shoes and write in different styles for different types of women.
